RAC Spring Drive-In and shock horror as the Kia’s once again cleaned by someone else and not the guv’nor

For only the second time in our tenure – and again this year – The Special’s Kia enjoyed a well-deserved wash ‘n’ brush-up before heading onto the lawn at Woodcote Park for the RAC’s Spring Drive-In.

This is an event we always look forward to thanks to its mellow, non-competitive air. There’s no jug-hunting, just great cars in a great location with some great people. It’s not a long event – no more than two and half hours if you get there early – so there’s no Scramble-style meandering. But as with Scramble, it’s a proper car gathering where the people you meet are as interesting as the cars, and surely that’s what it’s all about…
