Introducing Special K

You’ll have already read about the mileage the Escort 55 covered over Drive-It Day weekend, and after its Bicester Scramble visit the blue oval load-lugger headed up the M40 to see The Special’s creative whizz, Special K, for her appraisal of its new paint.

And since then the mighty Mentor has also headed up to see Special K, although on our second visit her ‘Just Use Oil’ t-shirt wasn’t in evidence.

Our creative genius’ taste in motors is quite different to the guvnor’s and Special K can often be found photographing cars she sees on her travels. Not all of them get her approval but they might gain admiration for the work that’s gone into them, or for some of the tweaks they feature. As a result, as and when we’ll be featuring the Special K selection box, cars spotted by her near and far.
