Back at Bicester

The last of three 2025 Scrambles finished on an absolute high and its ‘Reboots and Restomods’ theme highlighted an idea that’s always apparent at this event – that modifying a classic is a good thing.

And why not? Like it or not many classics offer some scope for improvement, particularly when it comes to performance and handling, but looks too can gain from a touch of visual modification, even if it’s done with a light touch.

But there was still plenty to satisfy the keep-it-stock purists as cars of all types, of all ages and in all conditions vied for attention. Picking a favourite? Nigh-on impossible really, because there really is plenty to inspire.

From its first 2025 Scramble, where fog and frost made a top-class backdrop to the last, bathed in beautiful Autumn sunlight, the Bicester Motion crew put on an event that’s a must-have for so many people. Long may that continue.
