A Fourtrak conclusion

A Fourtrak conclusion

The meeting of minds, and the meeting of Fourtraks: Daihatsu Gathering headed over the border into Powys for its Welsh meeting and for those who see the occasional example, this was Fourtrak overload, and in a good way.

Fourtraks in all conditions, from original to restored to modified came from as far away as Cornwall to the Honey Café in Bronllys, just outside Brecon. It was a great effort by organiser Louise Harrod and team and an indication of what other meetings could be like. Mrs Special’s Fourtrak was there, alongside a restored metallic green stunner.

But this was a proper car meeting, where it wasn’t about mirrors under the wheelarches and getting the detail spray out as soon as you’d arrive, but more the delights of big Daihatsu ownership.

Stories were swapped, praise heaped on Fourtraks and a general feel-good atmosphere was proof positive there’s still a great following for these models. Long may that continue.
