For some reason The Special seems to change the Romahome’s leisure battery on an all-too-regular basis and this week it’s been a repeat of years past. Getting the C15 ready for a vintage show the leisure battery – not two years old – had packed up.

Now for anyone spending all day away from home, a decent cuppa is essential but no battery means no water – in other words, a disaster in the beverage department.

So all hail the Cross Hands Spartan Motor Factors (spartanmotorfactors.co.uk), who came to the rescue with an off-the-shelf QH replacement. Slotting into place straight away we now have lights and more importantly a tap that works. Brew to the fore!
