Angel delight

Time for another car meeting and time to dig out the Nippa for a trip up the A465. Destination, The Angel Pontneathvaughan at Pontneddfechan for its monthly classic car meeting.

The pub must be one of the best for many miles around, the welcome warm. There’s a good bacon roll on offer, along with a decent coffee. And great staff.

And yes, a decent selection of motors too, boosted by a generous number of local Jaguars. The Nippa was warmly welcomed and looked at home next to a wonderful restomod Z-car boasting BMW M-Power under its bonnet.

We’ll be back for the next one and, just maybe, The Special might be taking a new addition…
