A stand-out XK

Now the Jaguar XK is appearing in classic sales there’s no doubt a groundswell of purists who will turn their collective noses up at any example that deviates from standard.

We’ve all met them – the ‘enthusiasts’ who don’t like any deviations from the original designs – but we do like this XK. We like it a lot. The eye-catching colour and logo scheme, the painted alloys: it’s one head-turner and no mistake.

And so does our creative guru, Special K, who spotted this urban hero XK in the Midlands. If it’s being used and helping spread the later-model Jaguar word, good. And the purists? Who cares what they think!
