Heading up North to Southern Cars
The Special took a trip to the North West for a catch-up with Southern Cars’ Sam G-B. Along with some filming where we talked about the olden days (better days?) of selling cars before the bloody internet there was a chance to see what’s in stock.
Talking of which, how kool is it to be sitting the presence of a ’62 Cadillac Coupe de Ville and a 2001 Seville STS? The latter, a UK-market right-hooker, is available now for a highly tempting £3500 and you can find out more here.
Southern Cars’ 1990 Jaguar XJS 3.6 fhc with manual gearbox is a nice thing too and the big coupe will never be better value – we rate the 3.6 very highly and, whisper it, it might be a better all-rounder than the V12, especially if you’re looking at regular usage. Here’s the link if you’re interested.
Talking traders, motoring ephemera and, of course, cars was a great way to pass the afternoon and another visit can’t be too far off.
