New Year’s Day trip out, another record shop visited

Blame it on old age but The Special’s guv’nor thought there was a car meeting going on in Aberystwyth on New Year’s Day: the Mentor was roused from its 10 days’ slumber for the trip out North West and took to the deserted Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion A- and B-roads with a pleasing eagerness that rivals our 3.0 X-type.

Alas, no meeting was found despite a skedaddle around the town. But The Special succeeded in another ‘our car outside a record shop’ image – one that should be built on throughout 2025. It might have been closed but Andy’s Records definitely looks like it’s worth a visit: you’ll find ‘em on Facebook.
